The following report has been edited to remove a person who was stated to have been issued a citation for failure to yield. The wrong person was listed for the violation. The Southeast Missourian regrets the error.
The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.
* James Wakefield, 39, of Bossier City, Louisiana, was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.
* A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of driving while intoxicated and no headlights.
* Trena Elaine Novak, 72, 49 Sena Fawn Drive, was arrested on a Scott City warrant for failure to appear for traffic violation.
* A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of unlawful possession of a concealable firearm, possession of a controlled substance and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.
* A suspect was arrested on suspicion of failure to appear.
* Adam D. Hinton, no age given, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for failure to stop at a stop sign.
* Lucas M. Horst, no age given, of Jackson was issued a summons for striking a stopped vehicle, failure to drive on right half of roadway and leaving the scene.
* Jimmy T. Worthy, no age given, of Panama City Beach, Florida, was issued a summons for improper lane change.
* Luke Robert Propst, 23, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for stealing at Kohl's, 315 Shirley Drive.
* Ryan T. Harter, 21, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for driving while intoxicated and a stop-sign violation.
* Joseph F. Hercik, no age given, of Oak Ridge was issued a summons for failure to yield right of way.
* Karen D. Gordon, no age given, of Sikeston, Missouri, was issued a summons for operating a motor vehicle with vision-reducing material over the legal amount.
* Jaymar E. Wiseman, no age given, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for failure to yield.
* Burglary and theft of an Xbox, laptop computer and PlayStation were reported at 801 William St.
* Burglary and stealing were reported at Sunglasses Hut.
* A power washer was reported stolen at 1854 Marietta St.
* An air conditioning unit was reported stolen at 433 S. Sprigg St.
* Theft was reported at Montgomery Bank, 2027 Broadway.
* A Missouri dealer plate was reported stolen at Cape Auto Plex, 2550 Independence St.
* Plane ticket fare was reported stolen.
* A Sawzall, drills, a flashlight, batteries and miscellaneous hand tools were reported stolen at 116 N. Park Ave.
* Medication was reported stolen at 1701 Lacey St.
* Statues were reported stolen at 331 Sheridan Drive.
* A floor display was reported stolen at 3049 William St.
* A ladder was reported stolen at 2501 Tulip Lane.
* Shoplifting was reported at Huck's Convenience Store.
* A door was reported damaged at 105 Clark St.
* A vehicle was reported damaged at Jefferson Avenue and Sprigg Street.
* A vehicle was reported damaged at 709 Broadway.
* A request for service was reported.
* A request for service was reported.
* A 50-year-old man was taken into protective custody.
* Violation of an order of protection was reported.
* A 23-year-old woman was taken into protective custody.
* Failure to return leased or rented property was reported at U-Haul.
* Forgery was reported at 345 S. Kingshighway.

* Identity theft was reported at 614 Woodbine Place.

* Timothy L. White, 55, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for probation violation for fraudulent use of a credit card.
* Andrew T. Laxton, 21, of Jackson was arrested on suspicion of probation violation for possession of a controlled substance and on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for probation violation for burglary and stealing.
* Darious R. Whitney, 18, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on suspicion of two counts of domestic assault.
* Brian L. Hines, 38, of Delta was arrested on a probation and parole warrant for parole violation for traffic offenses and an Arnold, Missouri, warrant for failure to appear for assault.
* Maurice L. Bland, 22, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on a Festus, Missouri, warrant for failure to appear for resisting an officer.
* Chad A. Gornowich, 30, of St. Louis was arrested on a Jefferson City, Missouri, probation and parole board warrant for parole violation for possession for cocaine.
* Tracy J. Evans, 48, of Dexter, Missouri, was arrested on suspicion of unlawful use of a weapon.
* Jacob M. Wilkerson, 19, of Jackson was arrested on suspicion of two counts of statutory sodomy.
* Michael J. Allmon, 20, of Jackson was arrested on suspicion of domestic assault.
* Victoria M. Flahardy, 25, of Thebes, Illinois, was arrested on suspicion of domestic assault and on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for property damage.
* Makala M. Lopez, 22, of Jackson was arrested on suspicion of operating a vehicle on the highway without a valid license and making a false report.
