The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.
Arrests
* Christopher H. Akins, 44, 503 Woodbine Place, was arrested on suspicion of domestic assault.
* Tamara S. Flemon, 37, 2775 Lynwood Hills Drive, was arrested on two Cape Girardeau warrants for failure to appear for contempt of court and for failure to appear on bad checks and on a Perry County warrant for failure to appear for speeding.
* Karin D. Burton, 23, 701 Broadway, was arrested on a Bollinger County warrant for failure to appear for a traffic offense.
* Brandon E. Polk, 29, of Tamms, Ill., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
* A subject was in custody pending formal charges of resisting arrest, tampering with physical evidence, trafficking drugs and failure to drive within a single lane.
* A subject was in custody pending formal charges of possession of a controlled substance.
* Domestic assault was reported.
* Amerimart, 1320 W. Cape Rock Drive, reported gasoline stolen.
* A purse was reported stolen at 1236 Meadowbrook Lane.
* Medication was reported stolen at 502 S. Hanover St.
* Tennis shoes and a laptop were reported stolen at 801 William St.
* A sledgehammer was reported stolen at 1500 Riverview Drive.
* Humane Society of Southeast Missouri, 2536 Boutin Drive, reported a theft.
* Plaza Pawn, 2100 William St., reported stealing and forgery.
* Cash was reported stolen at 1500 Big Bend Road.
* Identity theft was reported at 40 S. Sprigg St.
* Identify theft was reported.
* Harassment was reported.
* A 47-year-old man was placed in protective custody.
* A 39-year-old man was placed in protective custody.
* A 34-year-old man was placed in protective custody.
