Arrests
- A suspect was in custody pending charges of possession of a controlled substance at 239 N. Middle St.
- Randall C. Lewis, 37, homeless, was arrested at 930 Jefferson Ave. on a Union County, Illinois, warrant for failure to appear for larceny.
- Stephen B. Caldwell, 36, homeless, was arrested on a warrant.
Assault
- Assault was reported at 2 N. Main St.

- Burglary and theft of miscellaneous items was reported at 2800 Bloomfield Road.
Thefts
- A black cellphone was reported stolen at 325 N. Sprigg St.
- Clothes were reported stolen at Macy's, 3049 William St.

- Property damage was reported at 2007 Southern Expressway.
Miscellaneous
- Protective custody was reported.
- Mentally ill detention was reported.
