The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do no imply guilt.

Arrests

• Maxwell L. Abbott, 19, 11 S. Spanish St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for failure to appear in court for a traffic offense.
• Samuel Garten, 26, of Thebes, Illinois, was arrested on suspicion of theft at Wal-Mart, 3439 William St.
• Lex Spencer, 21, of Jackson was arrested on suspicion of theft at Wal-Mart, 3439 William St.
• Justin Depauw, 39, homeless, was arrested on a probation and parole warrant.
• Tiffany Sadler, 27, homeless, was arrested on a Perry County warrant.
• Neil Christopher, 31, homeless, was arrested on a Crawford County warrant.
• A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of unlawful use of a weapon.
• A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.
• A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of stealing at 329 N. Pacific St.
• A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of stealing at Wal-Mart, 3439 William St.

Thefts

• Clothing was reported stolen at Wal-Mart, 3439 William St.
• Theft was reported at 210 S. Silver Springs Road.
• Theft was reported at Wal-Mart, 3439 William St.
• A firearm was reported stolen at 1423 N. Main St.
• An iPhone 5 was reported stolen at 1624 N. Kingshighway.

Burglary

• Televisions, a propane tank and tools were reported stolen at 1803 N. Kingshighway.

Robbery

• Robbery was reported.

Assaults

• Domestic assault was reported.

Miscellaneous

• Passing a bad check was reported at Pizza Hut, 1015 N. Kingshighway.
• Counterfeiting was reported at McDonald's, 1925 Broadway.
• A domestic disturbance was reported.

• A 35-year-old man was taken into protective custody.
• An animal bite was reported.

• Damien L. Cook, 21, of Jackson was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for failure to appear, operating a motor vehicle with vision-reducing material on windshield or excess to side window.
• Laura A. Masterson, 38, of Oak Ridge was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for failure to appear for a seat-belt violation.
• Lauman E. Kuykendoll, 18, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for failure to obey judge's order.
• Brandon S. Hinkle, 30, of Jackson was arrested on suspicion of tampering with a motor vehicle.
