CAPE GIRARDEAU

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

• Ryan Irions, 21, was arrested at 1006 N. Frederick St., Apt. B, on suspicion of resisting a lawful detention.
• A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of domestic assault, assault and trespassing.
• Charley D. Michelsen, no age given, of Oran, Missouri, was arrested on suspicion of DWI and striking a legally stopped vehicle during a motor-vehicle accident at U.S. 61 and Independence Street.

Assaults

• Assault was reported at 1803 N. Main St.
• Domestic assault was reported.

Burglaries

• Burglary was reported at 916 Jefferson Ave.
• Burglary was reported.

Theft

• Theft was reported at Wal-Mart, 3439 William St.

Miscellaneous

• Tampering with a motor vehicle was reported at 3815 Stonebridge Drive.
• Violation of an order of protection was reported at 1457 N. Main St.
• A missing person was reported at 1701 Lacey St.
• A 23-year-old man was taken into protective custody.
• Counterfeit $20 bills were reported by Denny's, 161 West Drive.
• Tampering was reported.
