The Cape Girardeau Fire Department responded to the following calls Wednesday.

• Medical assist calls were made to Whitener Street at 2:42 a.m.; West Parkway Drive at 11:20 a.m.; South Kingshighway at 1:03 p.m.; South Silver Springs Road at 1:06 p.m.; William Street at 2:28 p.m.; North Street at 5 p.m.; North Silver Springs Road at 6:28 p.m.; North Pind Wood Lane at 7:56 p.m.; and South Hanover Street 8:15 p.m.
• At 12:11 a.m., alarm system sounding on William Street.
• At 8:20 a.m., good-intent call on Minutemen Way.
• At 8:28 a.m., a motor vehicle accident with injuries on William Street.
• At 9:08 a.m., building fire on Themis Street.
• At 12:27 p.m., good-intent call on South Broadview Street.
• At 2:23 p.m., unauthorized burning on North Spanish Street.
• At 9:11 p.m., outside rubbish, trash or waste fire on South Benton Street.
• At 10:30 p.m., unauthorized burning on North Frederick Street.
• Calls were made to South Fountain Street at 2:39 a.m.; South West End Boulevard at 10:50 p.m.; Nash Road at 11:08 p.m.; and North Ellis Street at 11:30 p.m.
