CAPE GIRARDEAU

The Cape Girardeau Fire Department responded to the following calls Wednesday:

• Medical assists were made at 5:49 a.m. on Park Avenue; 8:55 a.m. on South West End Boulevard; 1:22 p.m. on Bellevue Street; and 2:21 p.m. on North Kingshighway.
• At 7:30 a.m., an alarm-system activation, no fire, on Minnesota Avenue.
• At 10:44 a.m., a false alarm or false call on Broadway.
• At 11:22 a.m., a passenger-vehicle fire on Siemers Drive.
• At 12:56 p.m., a good-intent call on Bloomfield Road.
• At 4:54 p.m., extrication of victims from a vehicle on Highway 25.
• At 8:16 p.m., an outside rubbish, trash or waste fire on Jefferson Avenue.
• At 8:27 p.m., a false alarm or false call on Merriwether Street.
