The Cape Girardeau Fire Department responded to the following calls:

• Medical assists were made at 8:54 a.m. on North Kingshighway; 12:19 p.m. on Broadway; 3:41 p.m. on Cape Meadows Circle; 3:51 p.m. on Southern Expressway; 3:53 p.m. on Ridge Drive; 4:28 p.m. on North Park Avenue; and 4:58 p.m. on South Ellis Street.
• At 8:58 a.m., unauthorized burning on Whitener Street.
• At 10:10 a.m., outside rubbish, trash or waste fire on South West End Boulevard.
• At 11:21 a.m., smoke detector activation, no fire, on Scenic Drive.
• At 3:02 p.m., emergency medical service, excluding vehicle accident, on Themis Street.
• At 3:27 p.m., good-intent call, no medical, false alarm on North Sprigg Street.
• At 4:20 p.m., dispatched and canceled en route to North Mount Auburn Road.
• At 4:31 p.m., dispatched and canceled en route to North Sprigg Street.
• At 5:02 p.m., unauthorized burning on Gerhardt Drive.
• At 5:50 p.m., alarm-system activation, no fire, on Veterans Memorial Drive.
• At 9:38 p.m., dispatched and canceled en route to Georgia Street.
• At 10:27 p.m., a call on South Louisiana Avenue.
