The Cape Girardeau Fire Department responded to the following calls Sunday:

• Medical assist calls were made to: Grandview Drive at 8:24 a.m.; Hackberry Street at 2:14 p.m.; West Rodney Drive at 4:45 p.m.; and Cape Meadows Circle at 8:44 p.m.
• At 2:38 a.m., a call to William Street.
• At 6:09 a.m., a call to Lowe's Drive.
• At 12:41 p.m., a cooking fire confined to container on Lexington Avenue.
• At 1:33 p.m., a call to Price Drive.
• At 2:22 p.m., a call cancelled en route to Hackberry Street.
• At 3:48 p.m., a call cancelled en route to South Kingshighway.
• At 6:08 p.m., an alarm system sounded on South Spring Avenue.
• At 10:23 p.m., a motor vehicle accident with injuries on Shawnee Parkway.
