CAPE GIRARDEAU

The Cape Girardeau Fire Department responded to the following calls Tuesday:

• Medical assist calls were made to: North Spring Avenue at 7:54 a.m.; Interstate 55 at 10:07 a.m.; Big Bend Road at 1:23 p.m.; New Madrid Street at 4:25 p.m.; and William Street at 7:04 p.m.
• At 2:07 a.m., call to Whitener Street.
• At 8:26 a.m., alarm system sounded on North Kingshighway.
• At 10:27 a.m., breakdown of light ballast on Saint Francis Drive.
• At 12:37 p.m., no incident found on arrival at North Kingshighway.
• At 12:50 p.m., call canceled en route to Interstate 55.
• At 12:52 p.m., citizen assist on Leroy Drive.
• At 6:02 p.m., call canceled en route to North Kingshighway.
• At 6:20 p.m., outside rubbish, trash or waste fire on William Street.
