CAPE GIRARDEAU The Cape Girardeau Fire Department responded to the following calls: Tuesday n Medical assist calls were made at 1:33 a.m. on North Sprigg Street; 10:35 a.m. on South Mineesota Avenue; 2:28 p.m. on Franklin Street; 3:01 p.m. on North Pacific Street; 3:02 p.m. on North Kingshighway; 7:04 p.m. on William Street; 7:59 p.m. on South Ellis Street; and 8:39 p.m. on North Frederick Street...

- At 9:41 a.m., smoke detector activation, no fire, was reported on Belleridge Pike.
- At 10:26 p.m., power line down was reported on North Sprigg Street.
