The Cape Girardeau Fire Department responded to the following calls Thursday:

• Medical assist calls were made to: Independence Street at 2:03 a.m.; South Sprigg Street at 8:27 a.m.; South Henderson Avenue at 8:53 a.m.; Jefferson Avenue at 9:55 a.m.; East Rodney Drive at 2:47 p.m.; Gordonville Road at 3:04 p.m.; and North Kingshighway at 8:57 p.m.
• At 12:32 p.m., call to South Benton Street.
• At 5:24 p.m., unintentional transmission of alarm on Edgewood Road.
• At 8 p.m., unauthorized burning on Hopper Road.
• At 11:52 p.m., call to Mimosa Drive.

The Cape Girardeau Fire Department responded to the following calls Friday:

• Medical assist calls were made to: South West End Boulevard at 4:15 a.m.; Football Lane at 11:29 a.m.; South Mount Auburn Road at 12:13 p.m.; South Mount Auburn Road at 12:38 p.m.; Good Hope Street at 1:22 p.m.; Camellia Drive at 2:39 p.m.; Big Bend Road at 3:19 p.m.; Cape Meadows Circle at 3:54 p.m.; and Koch Avenue at 5:36 p.m.
• At 2:38 a.m., central station, malicious false call on Towers Circle.
• At 5:32 a.m., smoke or odor investigation on Marvin Street.
• At 9:29 a.m., an authorized control burn on Hopper Road.
• At 2:27 p.m., an alarm activation on South Silver Springs Road.
• At 7:03 p.m., smoke detector activation on Towers Circle.
• At 8:50 p.m., a call to Siemers Drive.
• At 9:06 p.m., a good-intent call to Albert Street.
• At 10:24 p.m., assist invalid on Eden Way.
• At 11:23 p.m., no incident found on arrival on Washington Avenue.
