The Cape Girardeau Fire Department responded to the following calls Tuesday:

• Medical assist calls were made to: Cape LaCroix Road at 5:53 a.m.; South Spring Avenue at 12:03 p.m.; North Main Street at 4:38 p.m.; William Street at 8:04 p.m.; and North Spanish Street at 10:15 p.m.
• At 4:47 a.m., false alarm or call on Saint Francis Drive.
• At 6:55 a.m., woods or wildland fire on Independence Street.
• At 1:57 p.m., call canceled en route to Sussex Drive.
• At 6:25 p.m., call to South Benton Street.
• At 6:45 p.m., call to Whitener Street.
• At 11:34 p.m., call to Independence Street.
