Cape Girardeau Fire Department responded to the following calls:

Wednesday

• Medical assists were made at 12:54 a.m. on Perry Avenue; 1:04 a.m. on Parksite Drive; 3:15 a.m. on North Silver Springs Road; 11:35 a.m. on Megan Drive; 3:13 p.m. on Independence Street; and 8:05 p.m. on South Hanover Street.
• At 8:35 a.m., light ballast failure was reported on South Kingshighway.
• At 6:08 p.m., unintentional alarm transmission was reported on Lacey Street.
• At 10:05 p.m., power line down was reported on Perryville Road.

Thursday

• Medical assists were made at 7:54 a.m. on South Hanover Street; 11:38 a.m. on Big Bend Road; 1:15 p.m. on South Hanover Street; 2:40 p.m. on Boxwood Drive; 3:42 p.m. on Themis Street; 4:32 on South Sprigg Street; and 8:02 p.m. on North Lorimier Street.
• At 2:42 p.m., alarm system activation, no fire, was reported on Independence Street.
• At 4:24 p.m., alarm system sounded on South Main Street.
• At 9:44 p.m., smoke/fire detector activation, no fire, was reported on Towers Drive.
