The Cape Girardeau Fire Department responded to the following calls Wednesday.

• Medical assists were made at 1:55 a.m. on South West End Boulevard; 8:38 a.m. on Koch Avenue; 9:21 a.m. on South Farrar Drive; 10:03 a.m. on Independence Street; 10:06 a.m. on North Main Street; 11:11 a.m. on William Street; 4:33 p.m. on David Street; 4:50 p.m. on South Kingshighway; and 5:52 p.m. on South Hanover Street.
• At 1:05 a.m., a building fire on Bloomfield Street.
• At 1:40 a.m., no incident found on arrival at North Fountain Street.
• At 2:16 a.m., a police matter on Jefferson Avenue.
• At 2:58 a.m., a call on Bloomfield Street.
• At 8:18 a.m., a motor-vehicle accident on William Street.
• At 2:28 p.m., a motor-vehicle accident with injuries on South Kingshighway.
• At 5:56 p.m., a call was dispatched and canceled en route to North Main Street.
• At 6:17 p.m., a citizen assist on North Fountain Street.
• At 10:52 p.m., a call on North Sprigg Street.
