The Cape Girardeau Fire Department responded to the following calls Saturday:

• Medical assist calls were made to: First Street at 12:21 p.m.; Whitelaw Avenue at 2:38 p.m.; Sonnet Drive at 4:14 p.m.; Washington Avenue at 5:53 p.m.; Brenda Kay Court at 8:05 p.m.; North Main Street at 8:37 p.m.; South Spring Avenue at 11:03 p.m.; and South Benton Street at 11:42 p.m.
• At 1:03 a.m., call to Village Drive.
• At 1:06 a.m., call to North Sprigg Street.
• At 1:08 a.m., call to Wayne Street.
• At 1:13 a.m., arcing, shorted electrical equipment on New Madrid Street.
• At 1:14 a.m., call to North Sprigg Street.
• At 4:21 a.m., alarm system sounded on North Sprigg Street.
• At 5:37 a.m., call to South West End Boulevard.
• At 12:34 p.m., EMS call, excluding vehicle accident, on Hawthorne Road.
• At 2:47 p.m., call to Siemers Drive.
• At 6:32 p.m., central station, malicious false incident on Beavercreek Drive.
• At 9:08 p.m., public service assistance on North Fountain Street.
• At 9:45 p.m., building fire on Hackberry Street.

• Medical assist calls were made to: North Frederick Street at 1:27 p.m.; Bloomfield Street at 4:35 p.m.; Clark Avenue at 5:42 p.m.; Bloomfield Street at 7:25 p.m.; and South Sprigg Street at 8:48 p.m.
• At 4:53 a.m., EMS call, excluding vehicle accident, on Westwood Drive.
• At 7:54 a.m., unintentional transmission of alarm on St. Francis Drive.
• At 10:09 a.m., water or steam leak on O'Connell Drive.
• At 4:54 p.m., no incident found on arrival at North Spanish Street.
