The Cape Girardeau Fire Department responded to the following calls Saturday.

• Medical assists were made at 3:08 a.m. on Themis Street; 9:27 a.m. on South Ellis Street; 2:20 p.m. on Whitener Street; 5:21 p.m. on Jean Ann Drive; 5:46 p.m. on Valley Forge Lane; and 8:19 p.m. on Independence Street.
• At 2:35 a.m., no incident found on arrival on Themis Street.
• At 6:09 a.m., a smoke or odor investigation on Hart Drive.
• At 7:59 a.m., a false alarm or false call on Independence Street.
• At 2:18 p.m., a smoke detector activation on Caruthers Avenue.
• At 3:15 p.m., a detector activation, no fire, on North Frederick Street.
• At 7 p.m., a motor-vehicle accident with injuries on William Street.
• At 8:33 p.m., a brush or brush-and-grass-mixture fire on Steven Drive.
• At 10:43 p.m., a motor vehicle-pedestrian accident on Perryville Road.
