The Cape Girardeau Fire Department responded to the following calls on Thursday.

• Medical assists at 3:20 a.m. on North Kingshighway; 8:51 a.m. on Aspen Drive; 9:13 a.m. on Emily Court; 11:56 a.m. on North Sprigg Street; 12:49 p.m. on William Street; 6:58 p.m. on Whitener Street; 8:50 p.m. on East Rodney Drive; and 10:32 p.m. on North Sprigg Street.
• At 2:57 a.m., a citizen assist on Grant Street.
• At 7:36 a.m., motor vehicle accident with injuries on Interstate 55.
• At 9:11 a.m., electrical wiring or equipment problem on Towers Circle.
• At 10:32 a.m., person in distress on South West End Boulevard.
• At 12:39 p.m., no incident found on arrival on Interstate 55.
• At 2:47 p.m., cooking fire confined to container on South Ranney Avenue.
• At 3:27 p.m., dispatched and canceled en route to Normal Avenue.
• At 5:41 p.m., no incident found on arrival at Sandstone Lane.
