The Cape Girardeau Fire Department responded to the following calls Tuesday:
- Medical assists were made at 3:18 a.m. on College Street; 5:04 a.m. on South West End Boulevard; 2:31 p.m. on Good Hope Street; 9:09 p.m. on Good Hope Street; and 11:01 p.m. on North Silver Springs Road.
- At 8:02 a.m., a citizen assist on Allen Drive.
- At 1:34 p.m., a call was dispatched and canceled en route to North Water Street.
- At 1:53 p.m., no incident found on arrival on South Sprigg Street.
- At 8:23 p.m., steam or other gas mistaken for smoke on Big Bend Road.
