* At 9:43 p.m., emergency medical service in the 800 block of Grant Street.

* At 10:20 p.m., emergency medical service in the 600 block of South Spring Avenue.

* At 11:25 p.m., emergency medical service on Interstate 55 at mile marker 93.

Firefighters responded to the following calls Thursday:

* At 12:26 a.m., emergency medical service at 2400 Veterans Drive.

* At 10:37 a.m., a citizen assist at 1400 S. West End Blvd.

* At 4:07 p.m., an alarm at the federal courthouse.

* At 4:18 p.m., emergency medical service at 1400 Rose St.
