Firefighters responded to the following calls Monday:

* At 5:02 p.m., emergency medical service in the 400 block of Silver Springs Road.

* At 5:48 p.m., an alarm sounding at 2823 Bloomfield Road.

* At 6:22 p.m., emergency medical service in the 200 block of Country Club Drive.

* At 7:51 p.m., emergency medical service in the 2700 block of Steven Drive.

* At 9:20 p.m., a gas smell at 645 Whitelaw Ave.

Firefighters responded to the following calls Tuesday:

* At 2:09 a.m., emergency medical service on Edgewood Road.

* At 9:53 a.m., a fire alarm at 2825 Bloomfield Road.

* At 10:47 a.m., a car fire on Interstate 55 at mile marker 96.

* At 11:46 a.m., a fire alarm at 1000 Towers Circle.

* At 2:01 p.m., emergency medical service in the 3400 block of William Street.
