The Cape Girardeau Fire Department responded to the following calls:

Wednesday

• Medical assists were made at 12:26 a.m. on North Fountain Street, 7:48 a.m. on Hawthorne Road, 8:07 a.m. on Belleridge Pike, 9:21 a.m. on Vantage Drive, 9:34 a.m. on Bloomdfield Road, 10:01 on Siemers Drive, 12:21 p.m. on South Hanover Street, 1:01 p.m. on North Fountain Street, 1:08 p.m. on North Kingshighway and 5:59 p.m. on Parker Drive.
• Power line down calls were made at 2:27 p.m. on East Rodney Drive, 2:32 p.m. on Mississippi Street, 2:33 p.m. on Big Bend Road, 2:49 p.m. on North Missouri Avenue, 4:06 p.m. on Big Bend Road, 4:48 p.m. on Brookwood Drive and 5:42 p.m. on Lexington Avenue.
• At 2:54 p.m., no incident found on arrival on South Mount Auburn Road.
• At 3:18 p.m., arcing, shorted electrical equipment was reported on North West End Boulevard.
• At 4:38 p.m., unit dispatched and cancelled en route to Terry Lane.
• At 6:10 p.m., a building fire was reported on Morgan Oak Street.
