The Cape Girardeau Fire Department responded to the following calls Monday:

• At 8:37 a.m., citizen assist at 107 S. Ellis St.
• At 11:17 a.m., medical assist in the 300 block of South Silver Springs Road.
• At 11:43 a.m., a strange odor at 825 Grant St.
• At 2:53 p.m., medical assist in the 300 block of Etherton Street.
• At 5:58 p.m., medical assist in the 700 block of West Rodney Street.
