• Driving under the influence was reported at mile marker 93 on Interstate 55.

• Assault was reported in the 1400 block of Luce Street.

Thefts

• Shoplifting was reported on South Kingshighway.
• Theft was reported in the 800 block of Illinois Avenue.
• Larceny was reported in the 1300 block of Vantage Drive.
• Shoplifting was reported on South Kingshighway.

Miscellaneous

• Weapons violation was reported at William and South Hanover streets.

JACKSON

The Jackson Police Department released the following items. Arrest does not imply guilt.

• Chad Peltz, 40, of Scott City was arrested on a Jackson warrant.
