  • Third-degree domestic assault was reported on North Fountain Street.

  • Driving while intoxicated was reported on Scenic Drive.

Jackson Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • William Switzer, 54, of Jackson was arrested on suspicion of operating a motor vehicle while driver's license suspended/revoked, operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated, failure to have insurance and leaving the scene of motor vehicle accident.
  • Kristopher Kinder, 41, of Jackson was arrested on suspicion of possession of controlled substance, possession of marijuana and two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, and arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant.
  • Taylor Youngerman, 30, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on a Jackson warrant.
  • Alyssa Hillis, 21, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on suspicion of trespassing.
  • Amanda Leek, 37, of Jackson was arrested on suspicion of operating a motor vehicle while driver's license suspended/revoked.

DWI

  • Justin Tuschhoff, 31, of Jackson was arrested on suspicion of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated and no license plate lamp.

Theft

  • Theft was reported in the 3000 block of East Jackson Boulevard.

Miscellaneous

  • Property damage was reported in the 2200 block of South Farmington Road.
  • Property damage was reported in the 300 block of North High Street.
  • Property damage was reported in the 2600 block of Prairie View Trail.
