Arrests

• A warrant arrest was reported on North Park Avenue.
• A warrant arrest was reported on Sheridan Drive.
• A warrant arrest was reported.
• A warrant arrest was reported on Broadway.

Assaults

• First-degree assault or attempt serious physical injury or special victim, shots fired, unlawful use of a weapon and shooting at/from motor vehicle at person, motor vehicle or building resulting in death or injury were reported on South Pacific Street.
• Third-degree assault was reported on Saint Francis Drive.
• Third-degree domestic assault was reported on North Fountain Street.
• Third-degree assault was reported on Saint Francis Drive.

DWI

• Driving while intoxicated was reported on Scenic Drive.

Thefts

• Theft of motor vehicle parts or accessories was reported on East Rodney Drive.
• Theft was reported on South Sprigg Street.
• Theft from a motor vehicle was reported on Brink Avenue.
• Theft was reported on South Silver Springs Road.
• Theft/shoplifting was reported on William Street.
• Theft from a motor vehicle was reported.

Miscellaneous

• Shots fired, first-degree property damage, unlawful use of weapon and discharging into home, motor vehicle or other transportation method were reported on College Street.
• Fraudulent use of a credit/debit device was reported on North Sunset Boulevard.
• Weapon violation was reported.
• Leaving the scene of an accident was reported on Saint Francis Drive.
• Unlawful possession of a firearm was reported on Sheridan Drive.
• Leaving the scene of an accident was reported on Broadway.
• Failure to stop at a stop sign and resisting arrest/detention/stop by fleeing, creating a substantial risk of serious injury/death to any person were reported on William Street.
• Unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia -- amphetamine or methamphetamin and possession of controlled substance except 35 grams of less of marijuana/synthetic cannabinoid was reported on South Hanover Street.
• Leaving the scene of an accident was reported on North Kingshighway.
• Shots fired, armed criminal action, unlawful use of a weapon and shooting at/from a motor vehicle at person/motor vehicle or building were reported on Woodbine Place.
• Resisting/interfering with arrest, detention or stop was reported.

JACKSON

Jackson Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

• William Switzer, 54, of Jackson was arrested on suspicion of operating a motor vehicle while driver's license suspended/revoked, operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated, failure to have insurance and leaving the scene of motor vehicle accident.
• Kristopher Kinder, 41, of Jackson was arrested on suspicion of possession of controlled substance, possession of marijuana and two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, and arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant.
• Taylor Youngerman, 30, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on a Jackson warrant.
• Alyssa Hillis, 21, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on suspicion of trespassing.
• Amanda Leek, 37, of Jackson was arrested on suspicion of operating a motor vehicle while driver's license suspended/revoked.

DWI

• Justin Tuschhoff, 31, of Jackson was arrested on suspicion of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated and no license plate lamp.

Theft

• Theft was reported in the 3000 block of East Jackson Boulevard.

Miscellaneous

• Property damage was reported in the 2200 block of South Farmington Road.
• Property damage was reported in the 300 block of North High Street.
• Property damage was reported in the 2600 block of Prairie View Trail.
