DWI

  • A suspect was in custody on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia at Kingshighway and Interstate 55.

Assault

  • Assault was reported at Jefferson Avenue and Pacific Street. A suspect was in custody pending charges.

Thefts

  • Theft was reported at 430 N. Frederick St.
  • Shoplifting was reported at Walmart, 3439 William St.
  • Shoplifting was reported at O'Reilly's, 370 N. Kingshighway.
  • Theft was reported at 223 S. Hanover St.

Miscellaneous

  • Counterfeiting was reported at Dollar Tree, 164 Siemers Drive.

The Cape Girardeau County Sheriff's Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWI

  • Brock Green, 21, of Jackson was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.
  • Forrest Wadington, 25, of Murphysboro, Illinois, was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and false impersonation of a law enforcement officer.

Arrests

  • Lacy Hinkle, 29, of Jackson was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • Staphon Johnson, 23, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for a probation violation.
  • Matthew Prince, 42, of Jackson was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear.
  • Kairi Banks, 21, of Bertrand, Missouri, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for failure to appear.
  • William Driskell, 22, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on a State of Missouri warrant for a probation/parole violation.
  • Scott Pikey, 47, of Bell City, Missouri, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear.

JACKSON

The Jackson Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • Christina Steffens, 50, of Jackson was arrested on suspicion of receiving stolen property over $500, two counts of resisting arrest and operating a motor vehicle on a revoked license.
  • Randy Glover, 37, of Burfordville was arrested on a Jackson warrant for failure to appear.

Miscellaneous

  • Burglary was reported in the 400 block of Nancy Drive.
  • Theft was reported in the 2700 block of Palmer Drive.
