State Representative Kathryn Swan - District 147
Kathryn Swan was elected to serve District 147 in the Missouri House of Representatives in November 2012. She serves on the following committees: Elementary and Secondary Education, Higher Education, Appropriations-Education, Workforce Development and Workforce Safety, and the Special Standing Committee on Emerging Issues in Health Care. She also serves on the Majority Whip Team and the Speaker's Advisory Committee.

Swan Appointed to Secretary's Council on Library Development
JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. --Rep. Kathryn Swan, (R-Cape Girardeau) was recently appointed as a legislative member to the Secretary's Council on Library Development.
The mission of the Council is to advise the Secretary of State and the State Librarian regarding the State's libraries and library service, recommend policy and programs and communicate the value of our libraries to Missouri citizens.
Swan has been appointed by a term beginning January 2015 through December 2017.
