  • Rep. Swan,

Education is by far the largest expenditure in the budget. DESE alone already consumes over $5 billion annually. Why do you believe that throwing more money at new preschool programs will deliver improved student performance? What studies can you cite that quantify the relationship between mandatory preschool programs and improved student performance?

This sounds like another part of Common Core which you support. It will be another "free" daycare for people who are already working too much to pay taxes. Perhaps if we didn't flush so much tax payer money down the rat hole, more parents could stay at home and raise their children instead of working multiple jobs to pay taxes.

  • Amen , Simon you hit the nail on the head! The people going along with this, stand to gain something for them selves.(like maybe a broadband co to run all the computers the kids will be using.)check out family of some of these people. we all know how this works, your scratch my back and I will scratch yours, think of the money to be made! Sure they will go along with this.

The reps we are sending to defend the Constitution and our rights to parent our own kids, are not looking out for you or your kids. our kids are not the winners here and everyone with half a brain should be able to see this. I say .........

Huston we have a problem!! AND WE NEED TO FIX IT NOW!! (WHEN IT IS TIME TO VOTE REMEMBER..... these people when your children are being INDOCTRINATED BY COMMON CORE.)

If you don't know about Common Core get on the internet and read up on it, it just might help save your kids and our country ! for we are surly going down the wrong path and these kind of people are leading the way.

Just like Joann Emerson , good people gave lots time and money, to get her re-elected and they had the wool pulled over their eyes, they can do anything to us and we just take it. And all the time she knew she would leave and take a job that offered her more money and look how much money this cost us. It is easy to spend someone else money, very easy . She should have been made to pay all that back or made to stay in office for a number of years her choice, but we should have never been made to get the short end of the stick on this, but we all did. They know they can do anything and we will NOT hold them accountable.
