Bottles Needed

The return of several thousand bottles is essential if Cape Girardeau is to avoid a shortage of beverages, R.C. Parham, manager of the local Ne-Hi Bottling Co. reported today. Parham pointed out that the return of empty bottles and cartons to dealers would save valuable manufacturing manpower and materials. All stores handling beverages or milk make refunds on the returned bottles.

DISTRIBUTOR--Robert C. Parham has signed a franchise contract making him distributor of Royal Crown soda and Nehi flavor drinks in Cape County and north Scott County, it was announced today. The new arrangement separates distribution from the bottling facilities of the company, the latter remaining under the ownership of Alvin Wunderlich of Memphis, Tenn., with Marvin Ferguson as plant manager.
