Cape County's peach harvest, not as large as last year, but ample and mouth watering in quality, is rolling from its orchards this week. Here a few of the 8000 bushels from 2000 trees are being harvested at the old Schulz orchard, now Central Packing Co. orchard on Highway 61. Interstate Highway 55 took 1200 trees out of production. Pictured at the harvest are, from left, Y. Suzuki, orchard manager, Don Knapp, Pat Suzuki, Elsworth Statler and Joe Koch. (G.D. Fronabarger photo)
