Toybox and Elderly: The Breakdown
Year after year, the Community of Cape Girardeau continues to support the tradition of the Jaycee Toybox and Christmas for the Elderly. For 38 years, individuals and businesses have pulled out all the stops to find creative ways to give to those families in Cape Girardeau who are in need at Christmas. From "casual" Fridays, to dollar drives, to raffles, and collections, the Cape Jaycees have found a generous spirit in the community that allows them to continue implementing these programs during the holidays. This year we are kicking off the programs with some new businesses looking for new ways to support our efforts.
Charter Communications has reached out to the Jaycee Toybox with a generous donation of $4000 to help our families in Cape Girardeau. Additionally, they are offering a Free Video on Demand with a toy donation that their location on South Silver Springs Road.
LeBounce is rewarding toy donations (minimum $8.00 value) with a pass to their new addition LeBounce Too, opening at West Park Mall this holiday season. Donations are accepted at their City Centre location.
