Don't let the title fool you. I am talking about one person not two. Doug Howe will be playing George in River City Players production of "First Things First". The character George is a good friend to have in a crisis. RCP thinks Doug would be too. Doug is new to our group and we are thrilled that he found us. He is a third year student at Southeast Missouri State University and plans on earning a BFA in Musical Theatre. He works for V.I.P. Industries here in Cape Girardeau. Past productions that Doug has had a part in High School were "Guys and Dolls', "Thoroughly Modern Millie" and "West Side Story". He was Assistant Stage Manager for SEMO's "In the Booom Boom Room". He is very excited for this opportunity to work with such a wonderful group. The opening night of this last show of our season opens on November 4 and runs on November 5,10,11,and 12. The Dinner shows are the 4,5,11,and 12. This includes a prime rib buffet and the show. If you are interested in the show only that date is November 10. Call Port Cape, 19 N. Water Street at 573-334-0954. This is a full length comedy and takes place outside of the United States. Hint: You are in for a treat with the accents that the actors are mastering for this play. Come on out and enjoy yourself while supporting your Community Theatre. See you at the show.
