Last evening the 2009 Abbott Awards were held at Port Cape. I was the MC for the awards and am proud to say that River City Players are a very dedicated group of people. We have the awards in January following our last season. So when I say 2009 awards (although we gave the awards in 2010) they are for this past season. It is each directors' job to turn in a list of nominations from the show they directed. This list is turned into the Board of Directors. There are six catagories plus The President's choice award. I am very honored to list last nights winners of an Abbott Award.
