A-OK, Sheila!
Sheila is A-OK!! Whew. Thank you, God. The ultra white round area is still there but no bigger. The right side of her heart is enlarged but her cough has subsided somewhat - with her trachea being displaced by the mysterious object, when her heart beats, it is irritated. Her heart med seems to be helping. I wish we could all have the crystal clear lungs Sheila has - what a wonderful XR. An echo is probably in her future but not right now.
Shiloh went to the vet today, too, for his yearly check-up. He is great - in health and weight; a pudgy Beagle, our Shiloh at 43#! I have to give him credit, though - he went after a mouse from the garage tonight and probably got it. Go, Shi! He is quite the neighborhood dog - never causing trouble, going by to visit, say "hi" and move on. Good ol' Shi - needs his own home, though :). Photo of Shiloh by my friend Rochelle Steffen. Pretty cool, huh?
Bailey, the Black and Tan Coonhound, has been adopted and should hopefully be picked up by her adopter at the end of next week. Spring has sprung for sure - I need to be still and work on the yard and flower beds next week in the promised sunshine. Have a wonderful weekend.
