Albino Fawns,...August 2012

How exciting!! there are some more albino deers coming to town! They are certainly beautifull. All for hunting, do it myself! However, let's try to let these awesome looking, rare deer hang around a while!

How cool to see that there are more albino deer in the Cape area!! Please leave them alone hunters and let them live!! They are so beautiful!

If cape leaders were smart they would protect the white deer and use them as a tourist attraction for the visitors to see when they come to the City of Roses, we don't have alot to show off around here. The dogwood tour has been destroyed by construction and home building. Snake hill used to be a beautiful area , now it look like the old south Cape, the beautiful and famous Snake like hill was destroyed so people can drive faster and it looks like crap now. Stop destroying our natural beauty that God has so kindly layed upon us.

lets get out and vote to stop the hunting I think there was enough people to get it on the ballet in November. If not, let's start taking hikes in the woods and make a lot of noise while doing so bring a radio and turn it up . This will keep the deer moving and more cautious, letting them know that there being tracked and hunted.

All I can say to whyowhy is, your are not much of a sportsman,but maybe you don't have much of a life and this would give you something to brag about. pitiful sad excuse for a human being would only hunt a animal that has no hideing defense and sticks out a mile away.

Hikers , get permission from the land owner to go hiking in thier woods, city propery, use it you pay taxes to do so.

The white deer will make good targets for the archer's arrow's.

I am in complete agreement that we should protect our citys albino deer!! They could be a great tourist attraction, such as the white squirrels in Alney IL. I wonder if they are the offspring of the albino buck that lives in the same area? Beautiful animals :))

Harvest them. They are spreading negative genetic traits. The MDC says "take them out".....

Monk: I actually am quite the sportsman and since you mentioned bragging -- I feel I must now. I have hunted elk in Colorado, quail and pheasant in South Dakota, water fowling in Canada, salmon fishing in Alaska, northern pike and walleye fishing in Michigan AND Minnesota, and several other wonderful hunting/fishing excursions throughout North America! Don't worry I don't pick on albino deer residing in city limits! Thanks for being concerned about my wellbeing and my dinner table! Trust me I'm enjoying many of God's creatures so I'm not too sad or pitiful! God Bless America

if you google this you come up with 1-20,000 or 1- 30,000 deer hunters would not see one, we have 3 and the city wants to let loss arrows. wounder who is wanting a deer head over the fire place. city goverment wanting to get bigger thought we want smaller goverment

The deer in Cape are already used to 'noises' made by humans. That's why you see them in people's yards or just staring at you from the road. They are becoming tame, which is a serious concern. So by playing music and making noises, you are just getting them more accustom to city living. This would make it easier for hunters to shoot them.

Yes the albinos are beautiful. But they are a mutation. This can cause them to get eaten easily in the wild. So, would you rather them be hunted and the meat used to feed people. Or have a coyote slowly torture the thing to death in your front yard.

Deer have natural predators: coyotes, mountain lions, and bears. So by allowing these deer to overtake Cape, we are also allowing their predators in to the city as well. I"m sure you will be singing a different tune if a mountain lion or coyote comes strolling up in your yard...
