Pee Wee Recreation Classes and Sports in Cape

The Cape Girardeau Parks and Recreation Department has plenty of activities available for your child, ages 2 to 5, this summer. The pee wee classes listed below are open for registration now.

Pee-Wee Playtime

Two Sessions Available; Ages 2-5

$15 Resident, $20 Non-resident

Children will play games like Red Light/Green Light, Going on a Bear Hunt and Capture the Flag. New games could be learned, too! Games will be played according to age levels. This is a great way for children to burn off excess energy!

Session 1: June 5-21

Ages 2-3: Tuesday & Thursday from 9 -- 9:50 a.m. at the Osage Centre

Ages 4-5: Tuesday & Thursday from 10 -- 10:50 a.m. at the Osage Centre

Register by June 1

Session 2: June 26-July 12 (no class July 4)

Ages 2-3: Tuesday & Thursday from 9 -- 9:50 a.m. at the Osage Centre

Ages 4-5: Tuesday & Thursday from 10 -- 10:50 a.m. at the Osage Centre

Pee-Wee Playground

Two Sessions Available; Ages 3-5

$15 Resident, $20 Non-resident

This camp is located in Arena Park. Campers will explore the world of nature, learn new games and crafts, listen to stories and sings songs under the eyes of an enthusiastic staff.

Session 1: June4-20

Session 2: June 25-July 11 (no class July 4)

Pee-Wee Sports

Two Sessions Available; Ages 3-5

$15 Resident; $20 Non-resident

This exciting class is perfect to introduce your child to the world of sports. A different sport will be played each day, including t-ball, soccer and basketball. Children will learn basic skills and rules of each sport, ending each day with a fun game!

Session 1: June 4-20

Monday and Wednesday, 10-11 a.m. at Arena Park Shelter 5
