Two from Dexter area facing drug charges

BLOOMFIELD, Mo. -- Two people from the Dexter, Mo., area are behind bars following a recent drug investigation, the Daily Statesman reported. According to Stoddard County Sheriff Carl Hefner, following an investigation into illegal drug use and a vehicle theft from Bollinger County, deputies were issued and executed a search warrant Saturday for a residence on County Road 702 east of Dexter. Deputies found methamphetamine drug paraphernalia and the stolen vehicle. Two suspects inside the home were arrested and charged. Julie Boshears, 29, and Michael Lambert, 33, are charged with possession of a controlled substance and receiving stolen property. Bond is set at $25,000 cash only for both Boshears and Lambert. Both remain in the Stoddard County Jail and will appear before Judge Joe Z. Satterfield this morning.
