McDonalds RMHC Donates to Orchard Elementary

Orchard Elementary School in Jackson has received $3200 from the Ronald McDonald House Charties to purchase laptops for the third grade. The students will use the laptops for a variety of classes including reading, word work, and math while increasing their computer skills. RMHC supports non-profit childrens' programs in the areas of education, health and social well-being, and the culural arts. The local chapter awarded over $240,000 in grants to projects in the tri-state area in 2010.
