Bob Parker in Cape Girardeau, Mo

Rep. Jo Ann Emerson, "We don't need bigger government; we need government to get out of the way."

Just words.....

Emerson voted for 700 BILLION DOLLAR BANK BAILOUT

and;

CAFTA, that destroyed our jobs and Manufacturing base.

410 Billion dollar Omnibus Bill with over 9,000 EARMARKS including one of hers for 3 million to support the Emerson Hunger Center that is all about wealth redistribution that has cost us Billions.

Co-Sponsered HR 3936 to bailout the UNION PENSION FUNDS, a potiential 165 BILLION DOLLAR BAILOUT. This is Emerson's idea of smaller government??

She voted for CASH for CLUNKERS. Cost? $24,000 per car. This is not capitalism and it is not smaller government!

Mrs. Emerson/Gladney says one thing while campaigning here in Missouri, and votes another way in Washington. These are just a few of these votes.

Our struggle for the truth is not over. The voters must be informed of the truth and the record. I talked to thousands in this district and most were un-aware of this record.

I do congratulate Mrs. Emerson for running a great campaign in the primary. No Debates! No townhalls! No Tea Party events! No mention of her hard-core Conservative opponent!

Excellent job Jo Ann! You kept the deception going! Tell the voters one thing, keep mentioning Obama, Reed, and Polosi. It worked! You are to be commended. You are a truly professional polititian! Your advisors are the best in the business. You told people I was polling 8% in the primary, not 35% as the vote came in. Great job! It worked!

I predict another Emerson win, because who in their right mind would vote for a Democrat to go help Obama dismantle our country and no one else has the money or the political machine to upset the general election. When the voters in the 8th district finally get the truth, things will change. Thousands of good people in this district are committed to seeing that happen. Let's take America back, but first, let's take back the Republican party to true Conservatism which is smaller, less intrusive and less expensive government.

The financial clock is ticking for America. When it really comes undone, many will realize the empty words and promises of our ultimate Washington insider, Mrs. Emerson.

Emerson's latest ads talk about needing jobs. NAFTA and CAFTA were major players in destroying those jobs and the Emerson's were part of it. More empty words about jobs. What will you do to bring them back Jo Ann? All you do is talk and do photo ops. Missouri is dying a slow economic death and Jo Ann Emerson is helping to drive the stake through it's financial heart. In my opinion, she does not care about us, she cares about getting re-elected!

Our battle is not over. The fight for truth and a return to Constitutional Government is just beginning.

A lot is revealed about a person by the way they react after losing an election. Can you hear the squalls of a child throwing a fit after being told no? The sarcastic drip that falls from this letter is costic, childish, bitter, unprofessional, and unproductive toward the goal of turning this country around. For all practical purposes, even though the author says he can not vote for someone who will help Obama, by his very tone, he is supporting the attempts of the left to purchase our district. SHAME SHAME SHAME!!!!!!

This picture doesn't make a lick of sense. I guess Bob only could get his picture outside of the Limbaugh Law Firm because they wouldn't let him inside. I'm gonna post pictures of me outside of Shawnee Town Feed and Seed, Sonic, and Pocahontas Lumber. It's like Bob has some bug inside his brain and it's consuming all his common sense.

Jo Ann Emerson has served our area for nearly 14 years. She is, and has always been, EVERYWHERE during that time to determine the needs of the people she serves. There are always tough decicisions to make, and I believe every bill she has ever voted on was done with the intention of helping our district and our nation. No politician is ever going to please everyone with every decision they have to make. She does care about us, and she cares about getting re-elected because of her desire to continue to serve us. It's not like she doesn't have anything better to do!

It seems to me all Bob Parker has done since his campaign began has been to whine and complain about specific decisions Jo Ann Emerson has made. And, from the looks of that picture, has probably eaten far too many more calories than what he can burn by blathering on and on with that fat mouth of his. For someone with no political experience, he sure seems to think he has all the answers.

Thankfully the vast majority of the voters in the primary recognized what a babbling idiot he is and voted responsibly for an incumbent with experience and class. This tasteless article he wrote will just serve as another affirmation of the conclusion that 65% of the voters came up with when casting their votes back in early August.

Am I wrong, but in a democracy caring about getting re-elected means caring about the people you serve.

That pro-life rep from Michigan, Stupak, cut a worthless deal with Pelosi and President Obama on abortion in the health care bill and then decided not to run for re-election. If you asked me it'd be better for everyone if he had cared more about re-election and never cut the deal! Those people in Michigan sure thought they had voted for a pro-lifer.

I think JoAnn Emerson has shifted too far to the left for MO- definitely too far to the left for me. The facts are the facts- she voted for those bills, and it is a matter of public record. So what if Mr Parker is writing this after the primary? Just because he loses an election means he cant rebut what his oppponent says? Or make clarifications? JoAnn Emerson's slogan this year is "putting people before politics." One has to ask, which people are she putting first? Sounds like the ones reaching for a handout from Uncle Sam in one fashion or another, not the hardworking taxpayers who pay into the govt. In essence, her slogan is all smoke and mirrors.

I think we need more independent minded people to get more involved in government. FREEDOM is what made this country great, not govt programs paid for by the productive in society. And, if more business people got involved in government, the govt might be run more like a business, instead of a baby's alimentary canal- big appetite on one end, and no sense of responsibility on the other.
