WMD shouldn't even be a point for argument

To the editor:

In response to Donn Miller's letter "'Regime change' is Bush term for nation-building": Just because we haven't found the chemical and biological weapons doesn't mean they aren't in Iraq.

The mobile labs that were used to create the stuff have been found. These chemical weapons can be stored in vials the size of a thimble. They could be hidden anywhere in the vast deserts of Iraq.

Both Bill Clinton and the French agreed that Saddam Hussein had the chemical weapons. Why is this even an issue? Because President Bush was successful.

There shouldn't be any doubts now about Iraq's link to al-Qaida. On May 7 a federal judge ruled that the World Trade Center survivors had presented enough evidence to be awarded $104 million in damages against Iraq, Osama bin Laden and al-Qaida. Again, where is the debate?

The issue is dead. Bush won, and the Democrats know they are in trouble when they have to harp on missing weapons of mass destruction. I sure hope they have more than that to run on.
