Buy American products

We can all contribute to the growth of the U.S. economy by small acts of sacrifice. One such act would be to buy stuff made in the U.S., even if it means paying a few dollars more. Just as grocery shops often give people the choice of buying "organic" meat, fruits and vegetables for somewhat higher cost, they could give people the option of buying made in the U.S. materials by displaying them prominently in a specially designated place on the shelves. This would make it easier for people to find them. This practice should be applied to drugs, clothes, shoes, appliances, tools and other consumer goods. Yes, such display might cost the shop owners a little more in terms of labor. But then let the shop owners keep in mind that their contribution in the service of the nation will also be greatly appreciated by the people. It takes rain drops to make a river. Let Cape Girardeau shops lead the nation in this practice.
