A group of dedicated individuals has worked for two years to raise the money needed to purchase new bingo equipment for the Missouri Veterans Home in Cape Girardeau. Representatives of the group recently gathered at the home to draw the winner of an antique tractor raffle, and present the funds raised. Pictured, left to right, are Veteran Bill Koch Lori Malvitz and Brad Reynolds of the Jackson Elks; Randy Eggimann, who spearheaded the fundraising efforts; Teddy Eggimann; Joe Brice, Jackson Elks; and Jodie Rouse, of the Girl Scouts. In addition to the raffle, funds were also raised by the Falen Heroes Poker Run. Kevin Kieffer was the winner of the tractor raffle.
