Committed to achievement

Where is the conflict of interest? Paul Nenninger evidently did his job well to be re-elected to the Cape Girardeau School Board. He gained enough respect to be elected board president. For God's sake, you'd think the man was before Pontius Pilate. He did no wrong, yet words such as "shame," "apology," "embarrassment," "slap in the face" and "resignation" are bandied about. Bottom line: We have a man committed to student achievement in both public and private schools. His loyalty is to all children in the community. Those who are incensed at his inclusion in an ad to support community betterment are lacking simple logic.
