Heartland Pops To Present Patriotic Concert

The Heartland Pops Band and Chorus will present a patriotic concert Sunday, May 23 at 2:15P.M. at Crossroads Fellowship Church in Jackson. The band will play plenty of John Philip Sousa marches. The chorus will perform the patriotic cantata, "Ring All The Bells" by Derric Johnson. Derric is also the arranger of all the music performed by the Voices of Liberty at Disney's EPCOT Center. Special guest narrator will be KFVS-TV12 meteorologist Bob Reeves. Tickets are $10.00 and can be purchased at Shivelbein's Music or by calling 243-7473 or 238-4891. There is also a special discount for scouts (in uniform) and veterans but these are only available by calling one of these numbers.
