Ellsinore man to stand trial for shooting wife

VAN BUREN, Mo. (AP) -- An Ellsinore, Mo., man was ordered to stand trial Tuesday afternoon in connection with the death of his wife, who was shot during an earlier dispute with his stepson. Associate Circuit Judge Michael Ligons bound over John William Moss, 55, to stand trial on the felony of first-degree involuntary manslaughter, according to the Daily American Republic. Ligons ordered Moss to appear Sept. 28 for arraignment before Presiding Circuit Judge David Evans.
