Be less selfish when disaster hits

To the editor:

I cannot believe how selfish the person was who said to quit sending money to the tsunami victims and to take care of us first. How would you feel if you were hit by a tsunami -- everything gone, loved ones dead -- only to find that no one would help because they have to take care of themselves first. I hope that person thinks twice and starts being less selfish.
