2009 SEMO 4-H Rodeo Season Begins

The 2009 SEMO 4-H Rodeo season began on Saturday, April 25th at Patton Saddle Club in Bollinger County. There are 193 members enrolled in the program this year from the nine surrounding counties of Bollinger, Butler, Cape, Dunklin, Madison, Ripley, Scott, Stoddard and Wayne. Members must be enrolled in 4-H and be between the ages of 8-18 by January 1st of the enrollment year. Members also must meet certain criteria, including attending specific 4-H rodeo clinics before they can compete in 4-H rodeo. Jr. Goat tying: 7th place- Faith Revelle,8th place-Jessica Gray. Sr Goat tying: 4th-Logan Wessell, 5th-Casey Farrow, 9th-Samantha Cowell, 10th-Cassie Stone. Jr. Barrels: 2nd Mackenzie Gas, 4th-Jessica Gray, 9th-Abby Sutton. Sr. Barrels: 3rd-Casey Farrow, 4th-Sara Hoffman, 5th-Logan Wessell. Jr. Poles: 4th-Jessica Gray, 6th-Cassidy Sawyer. Sr. Poles: 1st-Logan Wessell, 2nd-Sara Hoffman, 4th-Jamie King, 5th-Casey Farrow, 8th-Cassie Stone. Jr. Breakaway Roping: 1st-Quentin Sawyer, 4th-Clay Maintz. Sr Breakaway: 8th-Andrew Ratliff, 9th-Clayton Ratliff. Calf Touching: 2nd-Clay Maintz, 3rd-Quentin Sawyer. Calf Roping: 4th-Andrew Ratliff. Chutedogging: 1st-Devon Beard, 2nd-Clayton Ratliff, 3rd-Cody Tuschhoff.
