The following items were released by the Cape Girardeau Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt..

DWI Marino E. Mavarrette, 26, of 526 Boxwood, Apt. A, Cape Girardeau, was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, leaving the scene of an accident, not having an operator's license and failure to drive on the right half of the road.

Arrests Jacob Scott Kennedy, 21, of 455 West End Blvd., Apt. 305, Cape Girardeau, was arrested Wednesday on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for insufficient funds check.

Amanda Fay Brooks, 20, of 807 W. Rodney, Cape Girardeau, was arrested Wednesday on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for probation violation.

Ophelia Smith, 38, of 814 S. Ellis, Cape Girardeau, was arrested Wednesday on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for parole absconder.

Steven Orcutt, 46, of 1903 Brookshire, Cape Girardeau, was arrested Wednesday on a Scott County warrant for failure to appear.

Summonses Jeffery I. Farris of Route 1, Box 132A, Olive Branch, Ill., was issued a summons Wednesday on suspicion of failure to yield.

Courtney Lee Elizalde of 2013 Kevin, Cape Girardeau, was issued a summons Wednesday on suspicion of failure to yield.

Assault Domestic assault was reported Thursday to the Cape Girardeau Police Department.

Thefts Cigarettes were reported stolen Wednesday by Rhodes, 407 Morgan Oak, Cape Girardeau. Fred Lee Harris, 50, of 445 Spring Apt. E, Cape Girardeau, was arrested on suspicion of connection with the complaint.

A purse was reported stolen Wednesday in Dearmont Hall to the Southeast Missouri State University Department of Public Safety.

Burglaries A Playstation, CDs and DVD were reported stolen Wednesday in a burglary at 705 S. Pacific.

Collectible coins and currency were reported stolen Wednesday in a burglary at 709 S. Benton.

Miscellaneous Forgery was reported Wednesday at 325 N. Kingshighway.

Forgery was reported Thursday at 1865 Broadway.

Arrest Tabitha Rainey, 30, of 122 S. Bellevue, Apt. 6, Jackson, was arrested Thursday on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for failure to appear.

Theft

A license plate was reported stolen Wednesday in the 100 block of North Hope Street.
