BENTON, Mo. -- Jill Suzanne Stuckey and Mark Anthony Klipfel were married June 15, 2002, at St. Denis Catholic Church. The Rev. Normand Varone performed the ceremony.
Organist was Ashley Hahn and soloists were Jim Simmons and Kari Lape. Lector was Cheri Klipfel of Benton, sister-in-law of the groom. Mass servers were Chris Asmus of Oran, Mo., Kimberly Klipfel of Kelso, Mo., and Carissa Klipfel of Benton, nieces of the groom.
The bride is the daughter of Paul Stuckey and Sharon Stuckey of Benton. The groom is the son of Lawrence Klipfel of Benton, and the late Shirley Klipfel.
Maid of honor was Julie Stuckey of Cape Girardeau, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Courtney Brown of Chicago, Angela Sullivan of Kansas City, Mo., and Jean Poetz of St. Louis.
Tom Klipfel of Benton served his brother as best man. Groomsmen were Kenny Klipfel of Kelso, Rick Klipfel of Benton and Jim Klipfel of Scott City, brothers of the groom. Junior groomsman was Sean Klipfel of Benton, nephew of the groom. Ushers were Doug Lynn, Travis Green and Chris Seyer, all of Benton.
Candlelighters were Logan Hopper of Commerce, Mo., cousin of the bride, and Cara Klipfel of Benton, niece of the groom.
Flower girl was Sydney Hopper of Commerce, cousin of the bride. Ringbearers were Nathan Klipfel of Kelso and Seth Klipfel of Benton, nephews of the groom.
Following the ceremony, the reception was held at St. Denis Parish Center.
The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner June 14 at the parish center.
Mrs. Klipfel is a graduate of Kelly High School, and attended the University of Missouri at Columbia. She is a teacher at Care A Lot Learning Center in Kelso.
The groom is a graduate of Kelly High School and Southeast Missouri State University. He is a claims representative with Shelter Insurance Co.
After a wedding trip to Ocho Rios, Jamaica, the couple resides in Benton.
