Homer W. Staten

TAMMS, Ill. -- Homer W. Staten, 78, of Ullin, Ill., formerly of Thebes, Ill., died Saturday, Nov. 9, 2002, at the Jonesboro Health Care Center in Jonesboro, Ill.

He was born March 29, 1924, in Risco, Mo., son of Earl and Lelia Anglin Staten. He married Lola Mar Staten, who died April 6, 1997.

He was a retired farmer.

Visitation will be at 9:30 a.m. today at the Jones Funeral Home in Tamms. Funeral will be at 10 a.m. today at the funeral home with the Rev. John Clark officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery in Thebes.
